As a Leisure Sales Manager, you will have the opportunity to drive revenue growth through developing and maintaining key client relationships, promoting our hotel to potential clients, and maximizing sales opportunities. You will work closely with our team to implement sales strategies, analyze market trends, and exceed sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Proactively find opportunities for business growth by developing existing portfolios and acquiring new accounts.
- Entertain and conduct hotel inspections with partners.
- Participate in weekly sales activities to ensure continuous business growth.
- Conduct extensive competitor research and maintain excellent product knowledge of the hotel.
- Understand the needs of DMC / Tour Operators to build "win-win strategic partnerships".
- Liaise with operational departments to meet guest expectations.
- Achieve personal sales targets.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and hotel policies.
- Support team members as needed.
- Maintain positive interactions with guests and colleagues, fostering good working relationships.
- Keep all employees updated on hotel product knowledge, current promotions, policy changes, and internal communications.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a sales role within the 5-star luxury hotel segment.
- Leadership qualities demonstrating integrity, respect, humility, empathy, creativity, and enthusiasm.
- Excellent spoken communication and enthusiasm when speaking.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication, sales, and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.
- Existing network or understanding of the luxury leisure market and high-end distribution partners.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required to represent the hotel in key source markets.
- Knowledge of current industry trends and regulations.
- Driving license is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Italian and English.
