Arena is seeking a highly organized, business-oriented Legal Operations & IP professional to act as the Group's internal Legal Hub in Tolentino, Italy. Reporting to the CFO, you will coordinate with internal stakeholders and external counsel to ensure compliance, and drive IP protection, governance processes and the adoption of legal tech solutions.

You will own legal processes, CLM tools, IP portfolio management, and external advisory coordination, while safeguarding know-how across business

Competenze

• University degree in Law, Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• 5–8 years in legal operations, corporate legal departments, law firms, or IP management.
• Experience with contract management systems and CLM platforms.
• Fluent English; Italian Bar admission not required.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Reporting to the CFO, this role will serve as the key coordinator between internal stakeholders, external legal counsel, IP advisors, and governance bodies, ensuring consistency, compliance, and best practices across all Group entities. The successful candidate will drive legal operations, intellectual property and know-how protection activities, governance processes, and the adoption and management of legal technology solutions.

Main Activities:

• Own and continuously improve legal processes, contract workflows, templates, approval matrices, and CLM tools.
• Act as the central coordination point for legal requests, ensuring efficient triage, escalation, and follow-up with external counsel.
• Monitor contract lifecycle performance, legal KPIs, and process compliance.
• Own and manage legal technology platforms, contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools, and AI-enabled solutions, ensuring their effective implementation, maintenance, continuous improvement, and day-to-day operational use.
• Manage the company's trademark and IP portfolio, including registrations, renewals, monitoring, and enforcement activities.
• Coordinate external IP advisors and monitor IP-related budgets, risks, and priorities.
• Safeguard the company's know-how, trademark, design, patents and all intellectual assets by implementing appropriate protection measures under strategic point of view ensuring their effective management across business activities and third-party relationships, including suppliers, partners, consultants, and other external stakeholders.
• Coordinate Board and Shareholders' meeting activities and maintain governance documentation.
• Support compliance programs, policies, and reporting requirements.
• Act as the primary liaison with external law firms and legal advisors.

Requirements:

• University degree in Law Economics, Business Administration, Management Engineering, or equivalent disciplines.
• preferably with a focus on Intellectual Property, Corporate Law or Business Law.
• Admission to the Italian Bar is not required.
• 5-8 years of experience in legal operations, corporate legal departments, law firms, or IP management.
• Demonstrate experience with contract management systems, CLM platforms, legal technology and AI-enabled tools.
• GobProved understanding of intellectual property, contracts, and corporate governance.
• Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all organizational levels and with external partners.
• A strong persuasion attitude, pragmatic, and business-minded approach, combined with the ability to balance business objectives with legal, compliance, and risk management requirements, is essential.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.

The hiring salary range for this position in Tolentino, Italy, is €45,000–€60,000 gross per year, based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and seniority level
