Job Description:

Enfinity is looking for a Legal Counsel specialized in Construction that will be a key member of the European legal team. This Legal Counsel will provide quality and relevant advice on the whole spectrum of legal matters regarding Enfinity’s construction activities in Europe (Spain, Italy, UK) and will work closely with contractors and construction companies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide assistance on technical contract matters related to construction, operation, revamping, project development, engineering, asset management, and security contracts.
2. Draft and negotiate EPC agreements, guarantees, ancillary documentation, services development agreements, joint venture and co-development agreements, operation and maintenance agreements, supply agreements, and management and services agreements.
3. Analyze applicable laws related to contracts and draft legal opinions.
4. Define standard contracts throughout the project lifecycle: development, construction, and asset management.
5. Review and negotiate various technical and commercial contracts and respond to legal requests from different functions.
6. Assess key legal risks in company activities and propose mitigation strategies.
7. Engage with external parties such as regulators, external counsel, clients, suppliers, and financing partners.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the energy sector, either as internal or external counsel.
• Experience working on international projects within the energy sector.
• Strong understanding of business operations with financial acumen.
• High level of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
• Flexibility, teamwork skills, and willingness to travel up to 50%.
