We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer and functionally to the Head of Legal Services.

Your responsibilities will include supporting the legal team in handling company legal matters (excluding labor law), such as legal opinions, contract drafting, and legal risk assessments, with a worldwide scope.

Main Activities :

• Preparing legal opinions to support business units, including:

Gathering legal opinion requests, analyzing requests considering company needs, legal constraints, and processes, collaborating with external legal providers as needed, and evaluating legal risks to inform business decisions.

• Drafting contracts related to dealerships, sponsorships, motorsport, consultancy, procurement, engineering, and licensing worldwide.

Handling service requests from departments, supporting negotiations with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery.

• Analyzing applicable regulations in the automotive sector globally to ensure product compliance.

Managing legal arguments:

• Collecting information, analyzing risks, advising on strategies, and collaborating with external legal providers.
• Providing legal support on brand protection and intellectual property issues.
• Monitoring legal service partners and costs.
• Cooperating with VW Legal units for benchmarking, communication, and legal structure updates.
• Supporting legal issues worldwide in collaboration with regional heads.
• Assisting with product liability topics.

About you

• Law degree (MBA/LLM or equivalent is a plus).
• Over 4 years of experience in international law firms or multinational companies.
• Bar admission preferred.
• Proficiency in Italian and English; German is a plus.
• Effective communication skills, teamwork, precision, and attentiveness.
