Reporting to: Legal Counsel
Based in: Roma, Italy
The selected professional will play a key role in providing legal counsel to the Italian team and supporting the company's growth in the Italian market.

What will you do?

1. Provide legal advice to support project development, construction, operation, and acquisition phases, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate key contracts, including PPAs, EPC agreements, and financing documents.
3. Oversee corporate governance activities, ensuring proper maintenance of records and compliance with Italian corporate requirements.
4. Manage relationships with internal teams, external counsel, and other stakeholders to facilitate project delivery within budget.
5. Support litigation and dispute resolution processes as needed.

What do we need?

1. Strong academic record from an Italian university.
2. 7 years of legal experience, with 4 years in a major law firm or in-house legal department, focusing on the energy sector.
3. Significant experience in transactions within the renewables industry, including project development contracts and M&A opportunities.
4. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and set priorities.
5. Advanced proficiency in English.
6. Experience in financing operations is a plus.
