We are hiring a Legal Counsel for our headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer and functionally to the Head of Legal Services.

You will support the Head of Legal Services in handling the company’s legal issues (excluding labor law), such as legal opinions, contract drafting, and legal arguments, with a global scope.

Main Activities

• Preparing legal opinions to support business areas, including:

Gathering requests from departments;

• Analyzing requests considering company needs, legal constraints, timing, and processes;
• Collaborating with external legal providers as needed;
• Evaluating legal risks to inform business decisions.

• Drafting contracts (dealership, sponsorship, motorsport, consultancy, procurement, engineering, licensing) worldwide;

Handling service requests from departments;

• Supporting negotiations with suppliers on legal issues;
• Ensuring timely execution;

• Regulatory compliance analysis for the automotive sector worldwide;

• Managing legal arguments:

Gathering information, analyzing risks, and advising on strategies;

• Supporting brand protection and intellectual property cases;
• Monitoring legal service providers and costs;
• Collaborating with VW Legal units for benchmarking and communication;
• Supporting regional legal issues and product liability topics worldwide.

About you

• Law degree (MBA/LLM or equivalent is a plus);
• Over 4 years of experience in international law firms or multinational companies;
• Bar admission preferred;
• Fluent in Italian and English; German is a plus;
• Effective communicator and team player;
• Precise and attentive to detail.
