Competenze

We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and the Head of Legal Services.

You will support the Head of Legal Services in handling legal matters (excluding labor law) with a worldwide impact, including legal opinions, contract drafting, and legal arguments.

Main Activities

• Prepare legal opinions to support business areas, considering company needs, legal constraints, and processes.
• Collaborate with external legal providers on specific issues, including international matters.
• Evaluate legal risks to support business decisions with appropriate solutions.
• Draft and review various contracts (dealership, sponsorship, motorsport, consultancy, procurement, engineering, licensing) globally.
• Support departments during negotiations with suppliers on legal issues, ensuring timely execution.
• Analyze and ensure compliance with automotive regulations worldwide.
• Manage legal arguments, analyze information with involved units, and advise on strategic legal approaches.
• Provide legal support on brand protection and intellectual property cases.
• Evaluate legal service providers and monitor costs.
• Coordinate with VW legal units for benchmarking, communication, and legal updates.
• Collaborate with regional heads on legal issues globally and locally.
• Assist with product liability topics.

About you

• University degree in Law; MBA or LLM is a plus.
• Over 4 years of experience in international law firms or multinational companies.
• Bar admission is preferred.
• Proficiency in Italian and English; German is a plus.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and precision.
