We are hiring a Legal Counsel at our headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting to the CFO and the Head of Legal Services.

Your responsibilities include supporting the legal team in handling company legal issues (excluding labor law), such as legal opinions, contract drafting, and legal argumentation, with global impact.

Main Activities:

• Drafting legal opinions to assist business units, including analyzing requests, assessing risks, and collaborating with external legal advisors.
• Preparing various contracts (dealership, sponsorship, motorsport, consultancy, procurement, engineering, licensing) worldwide.
• Supporting negotiations with suppliers on legal matters, ensuring timely execution.
• Analyzing and ensuring compliance with automotive regulations worldwide.
• Managing legal arguments, analyzing risks, and advising on strategic legal approaches.
• Providing legal support for brand protection and intellectual property cases.
• Monitoring legal service providers and costs.
• Collaborating with VW Legal units and regional legal teams globally.
• Supporting product liability issues.

About you

• Law degree; MBA/LLM is a plus.
• Over 4 years of experience in international law firms or multinational companies.
• Bar admission preferred.
• Proficiency in Italian and English; German is a plus.
• Effective communicator and team player.
• Precise and attentive to detail.
