We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer and functionally to the Head of Legal Services.

You will support the Head of Legal Services in handling legal issues (excluding labor law) with a worldwide impact, including legal opinions, contract drafting, and legal arguments.

Main Activities :

• Prepare legal opinions to support business areas, including:

Collection of legal opinion requests from Departments;

• Analyze requests considering company needs, legal constraints, and processes;
• Coordinate with external legal providers for specialized issues;
• Evaluate legal risks to support business decisions with appropriate solutions.

Draft contracts such as dealership, sponsorship, motorsport, consultancy, procurement, engineering, and licensing agreements worldwide.

• Support negotiations with suppliers on legal matters;
• Ensure timely delivery of legal services.

Handle regulatory topics by analyzing applicable automotive regulations worldwide and ensuring product compliance.

• Manage legal arguments through information collection and analysis;
• Assess legal risks and advise on strategic responses;
• Collaborate with external legal providers as needed;

Provide legal support for brand protection and intellectual property cases.

• Evaluate legal service partners and monitor costs;
• Coordinate with VW legal units for benchmarking and updates;
• Support legal issues worldwide in collaboration with regional heads;
• Assist with product liability topics.

About you

• University degree in Law (MBA/LLM or equivalent is a plus);
• Over 4 years of experience in international law firms or multinational companies;
• Bar admission is preferred;
• Proficiency in Italian and English; German is a plus;
• Effective communication skills;
• Teamwork orientation;
• Precise and attentive to detail.
