We are hiring a Legal Counsel for our headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer and functionally to the Head of Legal Services.

You will support the Head of Legal Services in managing legal issues (excluding labor law) with global impact, including legal opinions, contract drafting, and legal arguments.

Main Activities :

• Prepare legal opinions to support business areas, including analyzing requests, coordinating with external legal providers, and evaluating legal risks.
• Draft and review contracts such as dealership, sponsorship, motorsport, consultancy, procurement, engineering, and licensing agreements worldwide.
• Support departments during negotiations with suppliers concerning legal matters, ensuring timely completion.
• Analyze relevant automotive regulations worldwide to ensure product compliance.
• Manage legal arguments, evaluate risks, and advise on strategic legal actions.
• Provide legal support for brand protection and intellectual property issues.
• Evaluate legal service providers and monitor costs.
• Collaborate with VW legal units and regional legal teams worldwide.
• Assist in product liability matters.

About you

• University degree in Law (MBA/LLM or equivalent is a plus)
• Over 4 years of experience in international law firms or multinational companies
• Bar admission preferred
• Proficiency in Italian and English; German is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Team-oriented and meticulous
