Dr. Schär AG in Bolzano, Italy, seeks a qualified lawyer to provide legal support across the business, collaborating with Head of Legal and various departments.

You will draft and review contracts, advise on data protection and IP, support governance and compliance, and help with AI-related initiatives while ensuring a robust legal framework. Fluency in German and Italian, plus strong English, is required; Bar admission is an advantage; onboarding and development programs are available.

The position works closely with the Head of Legal Services, various business departments, and external advisors. It provides legal support across relevant areas of responsibility, advises internal stakeholders on legal matters, and contributes to ensuring an appropriate legal framework that supports the business and the company's objectives

Your Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support to business functions in their day-to-day operations
• Draft, review, and negotiate national and international contracts
  Support activities related to data protection (privacy), intellectual property, and Research & Development
• Contribute to corporate governance, compliance, and Supervisory Body (ODV) matters
• Assist with debt collection activities and coordinate with external law firms
• Support the digital transformation of the legal function, particularly in the area of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  Ensure legal and compliance requirements are met in connection with the use of AI technologies

Your Profile

• Degree in Law
• Professional experience gained in a law firm or in a corporate environment, with a focus on contract law and business support
• Knowledge of data protection and intellectual property matters
• Excellent knowledge of German and Italian, as well as very good English language skills, both written and spoken
• Structured and autonomous way of working, strong team spirit, and a solution-oriented mindset
• Admission to the Bar is considered an advantage

In accordance with EU Directive 2023/970 on pay transparency, we indicate a starting salary of EUR 45,000 gross per year for this position. Depending on the candidate's professional experience, qualifications, skills, and the scope of responsibilities required, the final compensation package may exceed this amount.
