Inside Lvmh is seeking a Learning Manager to support and empower retail teams, delivering client-focused experiences that drive store performance. You will coach in-store teams across a network, based in Rome, with a focus on selling skills, product training and ongoing development.

In this role you will partner with Store Managers and HR to implement learning strategies, deliver engaging sessions, and track impact to raise the brand experience and sales results.

• Must have managerial experience in retail or learning roles.
• Solid background in Learning and Training and coaching.
• Fluent in Italian and English for internal and external stakeholders.

As a Learning Manager your mission is to support, develop and empower retail teams in delivering the client experience to the benefit of the store business. You contribute to business growth, answering to the needs of the stores through selling skills, product training and active coaching.

You will spend your time coaching and training in the stores of your network, based in Rome.

Job responsabilities

Through local execution of corporate strategy, you will train and coach the team in store to become ambassadors of Brand culture, values and products.

• As a key partner for Team and Store Managers, you will ensure the implementation of the learning progression to further develop the performance of the team, aligning training initiatives with overall business objectives and sales targets in line with corporate commercial/training guidelines.
• Leading a culture of in-store coaching, you will observe interactions with clients on the floor through active listening and questioning, and you will coach individual team members to draw out their own solution to improve and develop.
• Supporting Team Managers in developing their coaching skills will be a key responsibility. Furthermore, you will work with the Store Management team to identify and nurture potential and create individual development paths for them.
• You will provide on-going feedback to Store Managers and HR on the performance/progress of individual team members.
• You will ensure the Store Management team has full visibility on training activities. You will also monitor the quality and the impact of all training sessions via follow up, as well as maintaining an active shop floor presence to observe the subsequent implementation of the initiatives.
• As a member of the Learning team, you will be responsible for liaising with Corporate/EMEA on training projects and delivering training at a Country level.
• You will facilitate on-boarding of newcomers and liaise with HR to ensure proactive planning for new employees
• In collaboration with Merchandising team, you will facilitate product training, including new launches for store population.
• You will act as a facilitator for sharing of experience / best practices among the stores on coaching initiatives and programs.

Profile

• Fluent in Italian and English
• Proven experience in a managerial role
• Solid experience in Learning and Training
• Ability to adapt and react to changes in a fast-paced environment
• Training delivery skills - strong presentation skills with use of different techniques to facilitate learning
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with a proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
• Proactive, highly structured, and collaborative
• Good understanding of Power Point, Microsoft Word and Excel
