Vertiv is seeking a Lean Specialist to drive continuous improvement across three production plants in Udine. You will partner with Manufacturing Managers to deploy Lean Manufacturing, improving safety, quality, delivery, cost and overall performance.

You will lead shop-floor workshops, train teams on 5S, VSM, TPM, SMED and Standard Work, monitor KPIs, tackle bottlenecks, support FMEA with R&D, and report on the effectiveness of improvements.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• Around 5 years in Lean Manufacturing or CI in industry; candidates with less can be considered.
• Good knowledge of Lean tools: P-FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, PDCA and Kaizen.
• Experience in metal fabrication, brazing, welding or assembly.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Strong problem-solving, teamwork and organizational skills.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably involving metal fabrication, brazing, welding or assembly.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Strong problem-solving, teamwork and organisational skills.

The role covers Lean Manufacturing activities across all three production plants. Time & Methods activities are outside the scope of the position.
