Job summary

Area Science Park seeks a permanent First Technologist to join the Research and Innovation Support sector. The role focuses on research, development, design, operation, management and testing of hydrogen production, storage and utilisation systems, with emphasis on experimental activities and plant operation.

Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in a listed engineering or physical sciences field and have at least eight years of relevant post-master’s experience, plus English proficiency,

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in one of the LM classes listed (physics/engineering disciplines).
• At least eight years of post‑master’s professional experience in the specified field.
• English proficiency; knowledge of main software tools and IT applications for research data analysis; Italian for non‑Italian applicants; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research, development, design, operation, management and testing activities, with emphasis on experimental activities and operational management of plants and equipment for hydrogen production, storage and utilization.
