Nextpower is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead Europe project engineering, focusing on structural design, sign-off, and coordination with global teams. The role involves mentoring engineers and ensuring compliance with Italian and international codes across utility-scale PV projects.

You will collaborate with US, Mexico, Brazil, Australia and India teams, contributing to development and execution while aligning with project timelines and quality standards.

Competenze

• BS or Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Must be a chartered/licensed professional engineer in Italy with full signing authority.
• Proven knowledge of Genio Civile and Italian structural codes (NTC).
• Minimum 5 years in structural engineering within EPC/renewable energy/infrastructure.
• Experience leading engineering teams or mentoring staff.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, LPile, MS Office and RISA/STAAD.

Mansioni

• Produce civil and structural design documentation with drawings and calculations.
• Act as signing engineer for Italy projects and certify calculations and reports.
• Manage documentation workflows with Genio Civile and local authorities.
• Lead and mentor team members to maintain high technical standards.
• Prepare wind, seismic, foundation, and other structural calculations.
• Provide construction support and manage RFIs and submittals.
• Coordinate with global Structural/Civil/Geotechnical teams to update standards.
