About Job, an Italian space company, is seeking a Space Systems Engineer to lead end-to-end satellite system design and verification. You will report to the General Manager as the first system engineering professional and help establish this competency within the organization.

The role covers definition of requirements, architecture, interface control, and budgets, coordinating with mechanical, electrical, software, thermal, AOCS, power, and AIT teams, with growth towards broader managerial

Competenze

Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent.
5–10 years of experience in System Engineering roles.
Experience in space sector, preferably with Small Satellites or New Space Programs.
Knowledge of ECSS standards and ESA/ASI environments.
Strong coordination and communication skills; fluent English.

Mansioni

Define and maintain system requirements aligned with mission objectives.
Develop system architectures ensuring integration between payload, platform subsystems, and ground segment.
Manage system budgets (mass, power, link, data rate) and interface consistency.
Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, software, thermal, AOCS, power, and AIT teams to ensure alignment and performance.
Support verification/validation activities and test campaigns.
Prepare and maintain system specifications and Interface Control Documents.
