Jobtailor in Milano, Lombardy, is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to lead cross-functional Java teams and own technical architecture. You will translate requirements into designs, drive best practices, and oversee delivery of enterprise software in insurance-related projects.

You will mentor engineers, ensure code quality, and collaborate with PMs and architects to deliver robust solutions using Java, REST, Angular, and DevOps tooling.

Competenze

• 5+ years of software development experience with Java technologies.
• Experience coordinating development teams or acting as a technical lead.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise software projects.
• Experience in structured environments and customer-facing projects.
• Insurance sector experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Java/JavaEE (8+).
• REST API design and software architecture fundamentals.
• SQL performance analysis and complex query optimization.
• Angular (v7+), DevOps concepts and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
• Git version control and translating requirements into technical designs.
