We are Smartpricing, and we support small and medium-sized accommodation providers with solutions to help them fight back against the huge hotel chains. We started in 2020 by providing these companies with a dynamic pricing manager which can update room prices 100 times per day, and increase revenue by 30%. We were named one of Italy’s top start-ups in 2023, and are the fastest growing B2B SaaS company in the accommodation space in both revenue and number of clients. Today we are working with over 3000 companies in over 17 countries, and steadily growing. Yet, this is only the start of our journey.

As we head into the latter half of 2024, we are looking to launch a suite of new products and focus on internationalizing our reach further. We aim to work with 5000 SMB clients by the end of this year, and aim to keep our 100% growth rate up well into next year. What Are We Looking For?

• At least 3 years of experience as a Lead Product Designer, ideally in SaaS or hospitality.
• Fluency in Italian (advanced level) and proficiency in English (intermediate level)
• Proficiency in tools like Figma.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Solid grasp of A / B testing and analytics tools for data-driven decisions.
• Experience and passion for the role.

What Will You Do?

As a Lead Product Designer, you will shape the user experience and visual identity of our platform. You will drive the design vision, ensuring a seamless experience while balancing business goals and technical feasibility. You will lead a small team of UX designers, mentor them, and establish best practices for design excellence. Working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Marketing, you will ensure consistency and innovation in our product suite.

Your Responsibilities :

• Strategic design leadership : define and drive the product design vision, aligning it with user needs and business goals. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to ensure a seamless experience. Own and evolve the design system for consistency and scalability.
• End-to-end product design : lead the entire design process from research to implementation. Conduct user research, wireframing, prototyping, and refine UI designs. Ensure a smooth multi-platform experience across web and mobile.
• Business & product impact : translate business goals into user-friendly solutions that drive conversions and retention. Define KPIs, leverage data tools, and iterate on designs for maximum impact. Collaborate with Product Managers to prioritize key design initiatives.
• Team leadership & collaboration : mentor and guide the UX / UI team, fostering growth and learning. Work closely with engineers to ensure seamless implementation. Align design efforts with customer success and marketing while championing accessibility and inclusivity.
