Publicis Sapient is seeking a Lead Engineer specializing in Java Microservices to design, develop and implement scalable solutions for complex enterprise platforms. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to shape technical roadmaps, drive API design and ensure fault-tolerant, cloud-native deployments.

The role demands strong hands-on experience, mentoring skills and staying ahead of industry trends to keep our clients competitive.

Qualificações

• Significant experience in Java development with a microservices focus.
• Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Quarkus and cloud-native Java frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift for containerization/orchestration.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP and integration with Java microservices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a passion for high-quality, scalable solutions.
• Fluent in Italian and English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and development of Java-based microservices architectures with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, designers and engineering teams to define technical roadmaps and deliver business-critical solutions.
• Implement best practices for microservices development, including API design, service discovery, and fault tolerance.
• Optimize Java applications for cloud-native environments using Kubernetes, Docker and serverless technologies.
• Drive automation and CI/CD best practices to ensure rapid and reliable deployment of microservices.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to keep solutions cutting-edge.
