Partner with the best

You will be responsible for the Control System design for Turbo machinery products used in energy production , transformatio n, recovery and decarbonization . You will have the opportunity to introduce new technology to enhance company profitability and productivity. You will be responsible for maintaining and incorporating new cost-effective solutions for design.

As a Lead Control System Engineer, you will be responsible for :

  • Defining Turbomachinery Control Systems architecture based on projects requirements and the application of International Standards ( e.g. ATEX, CSA, NEC/NEMA, IECex )

  • Defining the Package Control philosophy, based on internal standard and tailored for specific Customer needs.

  • Collaborating with expert colleagues to the detailed control hardware and software design, by interacting with other engineering specialists, suppliers, Customers.

  • Optimizing and simplifying the internal standard solutions and design tools, promoting and developing new ideas .

  • Contribute to dedicated programs for New Product Development in the Energy Transition value chain such as decarbonization, carbon capture /utilization/sequestration , geothermal or hydrogen economy.

Please note that this is a Temporary position of 12 months with the possibility to be converted in Permanent.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have MSc. of Science in Control, Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, Management or Computer Science Engineering.

  • Be proficient in Control System design and related development tools; knowledge of industry codes and standards.

  • Be familiar with PLC architectures, computer networks, industrial Safety principles.

  • Have developed interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence and motivate others.

  • Be able and willing to travel worldwide up to 10% of the time for short customer meetings and/or site/test bed support

  • Be fluent in spoken and written English.

Would represent a plus:

  • Have a proven working experience in an engineering position for Control design.

  • Meaningful prior experience in an Energy Transition related business or industry
