Partner with the best

As a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Electrical machines scope analysis, definition, and technical documentation management, including Electric Motors, VFD, LV and MV Switchgears, and Trafos
• Instrumentation selection for machine monitoring and protection; design and management of the relevant technical documentation as required (Machinery DS, wiring diagram, P&ID etc.)
• Control and Monitoring system architecture design and configuration definition, with relevant control logic and wiring schematics
• Creation of purchase specifications and technical alignment with vendors and customers
• Respect project documentation deliverables, on-time delivery, and first-time yield for drawings and documentation
• Responsible for codes and standards compliance of the design
• Coordinate and lead a small team of outsourced designers/drafters, maintaining contact with customers and suppliers
• Attend internal and customer meetings including Kick-Off, Hazop, SIL, PIM, and testing sessions
• Manage technical issues during project development with customers and suppliers
• Provide technical support to the sales team
• Manage/Lead RCA, NCA, Lesson Learned, Field Issues, and product non-conformity

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have a Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Have about 3-4 years of experience in Power Electronics, Electrical Machines Design & Operations, Instrumentation, and Control Systems with a solid background in Electrical Systems Engineering / Integration / Validation
• Be familiar with design, test, and analysis tools and systems
• Have knowledge of AutoCAD, Teamcenter, and Oracle interfaces
• Be able to work in a global and matrix environment; confident and authoritative in project teams and networks of experts
• Possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills, effective team-building, and problem-solving abilities
• Be fluent in Italian and English, with good verbal and written communication skills
• Be accountable for EHS performance
