Allison Off-Highway Drive & Motion Systems in Arco, Italy, is seeking a professional to manage the entire lifecycle of drivetrain products. The successful candidate will deliver engineering projects, ensuring customer orientation and cross-functional efficiency.

Job Description

Concentrating on the Off‑Highway Market Sector and reporting to the Head of Engineering or to the Head of Product Line you will:

• Play key role in Allison OH Drivetrain business: own the program and can be held fully responsible for its product over the whole lifecycle (from concept to decommissioning)
• Deliver projects within Allison OH Product Engineering
• Become the technical reference for the Customer, ensuring customer orientation throughout the entire duration of a project, and work to create customer centricity
• Develop proposals in conjunction with other Product Groups and Market Sector teams to expand Allison OH positioning
• Ensure the right level of cooperation across the different functions to create efficiency and generate added value for the Company
• Develop the project structures to ensure successful delivery and good profits for Allison
• Help to define customer target strategy
• Help to define and deliver internal Research and Development activities
• Foster the role of management as a mentor for subordinates

Skills

• Rounded individual with broad range of skills including technical and managerial
• Experienced drivetrain professional (nice to have)
• Very good attitude in creating/manage relationship both inside the Company and with customers/suppliers.
• Open and entrepreneurial mindset
• Experience in delivering technical product development projects
• Flexible approach to travel and working hours
• Very good English is mandatory, good Italian is a plus

Experience

Solid background in managing product lifecycle, including interactions with customers and suppliers, is mandatory; previous working experiences in drivetrain product design and development is appreciated.

Education

MS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; PhD is a plus.

IT Skills

Solid MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint user; good knowledge in Engineering Software. Knowledge of TeamCenter and Creo is considered a plus.
