You will be responsible for design activities on our compressor and turboexpander products. Collaborating with multiple engineers and suppliers you will ensure quality control and on-time delivery. As a Compressor Lead Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing design activities
  • Providing technical guidance and sharing project related status updates
  • Providing engineering support to internal teams to assist with activities that span the full, technical project life-cycle
  • Owning the delivery of technical documentation and drawings to ensure consistency with engineering policies and contractual specifications
  • Overseeing relationships with global and local vendors to manage time-zones and successful on-time delivery of required components

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Degree in Engineering
  • Have knowledge about either Mechanical, Thermodynamic or Fluid Dynamic.
  • Have previous work experience or knowledge about turbomachinery industry or related areas, and/or Ph.D equivalent on relevant subjects.
  • Demonstrate experience of using CAD software such as Unigraphics or similar
  • Have familiarity of finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
  • Be a problem solver, with an analytical approach to identifying root causes and implementing solutions
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be fluent in English and be able to work in the EU
