Lead Data Architect AWS

Responsibilities

Data & Intelligence Business Line NTT DATA is looking for a Lead Data Architect AWS.

Your role as a Lead Data Architect AWS will be to:

1. Manage Key Clients
2. Manage the relationships with AWS
3. Manage the AWS Center of Excellence
4. Lead Data & Analytics AWS projects
5. Support Recruitment
6. Support Value Proposition
7. Support Development of skills and capabilities, such as:

• Design Data Platform on AWS data store such as Redshift, DynamoDB, RDS, S3
• Design operations architecture and conduct performance engineering for large scale data lakes in production environment
• Apply the Well-Architected Framework to the solution design and implementation
• Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture by designing and implementing data ingestion solutions on AWS using native services (e.g., GLUE, Lambda) or data management technologies (e.g., Talend, Informatica)
• Participate in client design workshops and provide tradeoffs and recommendations
• Mentor other engineers in coding best practices and problem solving

Required Skills

• Proven experience in data analytics, preferably from consulting companies
• Minimum of 5 years managing a team of BI/data analysts up to senior level
• Experience with AWS cloud-native environment
• Knowledge of Big Data architectures, cloud and on-premise
• AWS infrastructure and networking experience
• Experience with AWS Collection Services: Kinesis, Kafka, Database Migration Service
• Experience with AWS Storage Services: S3, RDS, Redshift, DynamoDB
• Experience with AWS Compute Services: EC2, Lambda, ECS, EKS
• Experience building and delivering proofs-of-concept for specific business needs
• Experience migrating workloads from on-premise to cloud
• Experience monitoring distributed infrastructure using AWS tools or open-source tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK stack
• Experience with Agile Methodology and Kanban
• Strong skills in data manipulation and BI tools
• Solid stakeholder management skills, with experience dealing with top management
• Proactive, with exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment
