About the role

The Lead Auditor is a function in DNV Business Assurance Italy with the objective of leading the audit team in performing audits / assessments according to DNV standards and protocols, international standards or equivalent national standards, and according to the established DNV methodologies / rules.

The ICT Lead Auditor for MSC is responsible within the Audit Group for coordinating and conducting 3rd party audits (certification audits) with demonstrated experience in the ICT sector.

In the role of a Lead Auditor, you will:

• Proceed with regular auditing field activities;
• Manage relationships with clients and implement a customer-focused approach;
• Carry out work efficiently and competently for DNV as per instructions, Quality System, or formal agreements;
• Ensure the independence of the DNV scheme is maintained at all times;
• Maintain or acquire Auditor Registration with DNV or equivalent registration;
• Plan and execute audits, report findings, and follow up within agreed timelines and budgets;
• Meet professional standards and demonstrate core competence;
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with client personnel;
• Contribute to a positive work environment and team development;
• Maintain effective communication with management, team members, and clients;
• Use production tools properly for auditing activities and certificate management;
• Perform back-office tasks such as contacting customers to confirm activities.
