RSM in Napoli, Italy is seeking an experienced audit professional to lead and coordinate audits for middle-market clients, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality financial statements and disclosures.

You will guide engagement teams, mentor staff, apply our audit methodology, and build profitable client relationships while staying current with GAAP, GAAS, and IFRS.

This role offers performance-based growth opportunities and requires travel up to 25% of the year.

Competenze

• BS/BA Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• CPA or CA Certification.
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting.
• Experience leading teams and mentoring associates.
• Understanding of GAAP, GAAS and FASB or IFRS regulations.
• Proven record building profitable client relationships.
• Minimum of 4 years of team lead or in-charge experience.

Mansioni

• Provide timely, high quality client service including coordination of audits and disclosures.
• Assess risk and design audit procedures with engagement teams.
• Understand and utilize RSM's Audit Methodology.
• Manage multiple engagement teams and evaluate staff performance.
• Coach Seniors and Supervisors; report on progress and performance.
• Supervise staff and monitor productivity and schedules on each assignment.
• Maintain client contact to understand business developments and impacts on audits.
• Develop others through training and career development initiatives.
• Share industry insights with clients as applicable.
• Develop growth opportunities by leveraging external relationships in Centers of Influence.
• Manage project profitability and industry outcomes.
• Identify accounting and auditing matters for Senior Managers and Partners.
• Identify performance improvements and ensure ongoing education.
• Stay updated on GAAP and firm standards.
