Medical University of South Carolina is seeking an Acute Care Lead Physical Therapist to join our team at MUSC Florence Medical Center. The role involves daily operational supervision of staff, mentoring clinicians, and delivering high-quality therapy services in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities include clinical leadership, patient care provision, and educational activities for PT students, under the Rehab Manager or Rehab Director.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Considerable knowledge of entry level evaluation and therapeutic interventions in physical therapy.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in busy clinic environment.

Mansioni

• Supervise and mentor assigned staff, including Physical Therapists, Volunteers, Therapy Technicians and Physical Therapy Assistants.
• Provide optimal patient care services as referred by physician for Physical Therapy.
• Teach and provide clinical education experiences for physical therapy students as assigned.
• Work in both outpatient and inpatient services across hospital units as needed.
• Report to Rehab Manager or Rehab Director and oversee daily operations.
