A leading company in the oil and gas sector is seeking a Layout & Piping Design & Drafting Engineer. The role involves performing design activities, developing layout studies, and collaborating with the project team. Candidates should have a strong background in the oil and gas field and knowledge of Aveva E3D and Intergraph Smart 3D.

Competenze

• Strong background in OIL&GAS Field.
• Ability to perform 3D modeling activities.
• Experience in checking engineering drawings and isometrics.

Mansioni

• Perform design activities as per instructions from the Piping Coordinator.
• Develop layout studies and check engineering drawings prepared by others.
• Ensure adequate flow of information within the project team.

Conoscenze

MISSION :

Performs all plant design activities related to their group, including, if necessary, the identification and specification of piping materials in accordance with technological, technical, contractual, and economic requirements.

ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL SKILLS :

Knowledge and ability to use Aveva E3D and Intergraph Smart 3D.

MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Following the guidelines provided by the Supervisor, the Layout & Piping Design & Drafting Engineer has the following main responsibilities :

• Perform the design activities assigned to them as per the instructions of the Piping Coordinator and in accordance with the quality system related to the Discipline, project requirements, and schedule;
• Keep the Piping Coordinator informed about the progress of their activities;
• Ensure an adequate flow of information within the project team;
• Develop layout studies under the supervision and following the instructions of the Piping Coordinator in accordance with the established work instructions;
• Check, following the applicable work instructions, the engineering drawings prepared by other Piping Engineers / Draftsmen of the group and comment on drawings and specifications related to other disciplines that may be related to piping activities;
• Perform 3D modeling activities;
• Prepare or review engineering drawings under the supervision and following the instructions of the Design and Drafting Coordinator, in accordance with the established work instructions and project requirements;
• Check isometrics, when decided by the Design and Drafting Coordinator;

IN ADDITION :

• Fluent in English (up to B1 Level);
• Strong background in OIL&GAS Field.
