Keysight is seeking a recent graduate (MSc or PhD) in Telecommunications Engineering to join our R&D team as a Wireless Protocol Software Engineer focused on Layer 2. This role involves contributing to 3GPP LTE and 5G NR protocol stacks for real-world wireless test and emulation platforms.

You will design, develop, and test Layer 2 components (MAC, RLC, PDCP) and collaborate with systems, RF, and software teams to translate requirements into clean, maintainable code and robust test cases.

Competenze

• MSc or PhD in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of wireless communications and 3GPP LTE/5G NR.
• Understanding Layer 2 protocols (MAC, RLC, PDCP).
• Programming skills in C or C++.

Mansioni

• Contribute to design, development, and testing of Layer 2 protocol stack components (MAC, RLC, PDCP).
• Support UE and base station (gNB) emulation solutions.
