Opportunity

Our client is seeking candidates for Freelance / Task-based work for an ongoing project. The hours will align with the IST time zone. Please review the mandatory requirement before applying: must be able to read and write in Latin and English. This is a task-based role with on-demand work. Notifications will be sent via WhatsApp, email, or Slack after onboarding through the client’s portal. Tasks are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Mandatory Requirements

Must have reliable high-speed internet and a functioning device (laptop, desktop, etc.).

Position

We are looking for a Language Data and Quality Reviewer with proficiency in Latin to join our team. This role involves researching and analyzing data for various entities, tools, and datasets introduced through on-the-job training. The ideal candidate should have a technology background with strong logical and analytical skills to assess data and provide insights. Prior experience in similar roles is beneficial, but candidates with some experience in data analysis, quality assurance, or related fields are encouraged to apply, especially those seeking growth in a global, dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Interpretation: Analyze datasets, translating raw data into actionable insights to support business improvement strategies.
• Data Manipulation: Handle data batches, apply labeling techniques, and manipulate data according to project requirements with high accuracy.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee training data quality, identify issues, and implement corrective measures to maintain data integrity.
• Language Translations: Provide translations and contextual understanding to ensure data aligns with language and cultural nuances.
• Recommendations: Offer suggestions to improve business processes and outcomes based on data analysis.

Required and Desired Qualifications

• Proficiency (reading, writing, and/or speaking) in both English and Latin.
• Strong computer skills, particularly in typing and writing, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience in data labeling, manipulation, or quality assurance, especially in technology or related fields.
• Logical and analytical skills to ensure data accuracy and support project goals.
• Proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement; certification as a Linguist is a plus.

Interview Process

Submissions are reviewed by a recruiter. Selected candidates will be invited to complete an Applicant Response Form and may be invited to a first and final interview.

Onboarding, Compliance & Compensation

Onboarding is through Deel.com to ensure alignment with international compliance standards. Completion of onboarding and submission of required documents within the specified timeline is required. You may be asked to provide documents according to regional requirements.

Compensation: $10 to $13 per hour

Notes

This is a remote freelance position with hours dependent on task volume. The role is best suited for individuals seeking supplemental income and who can manage sporadic work availability. The project is a freelance/1099 independent contractor role, with potential variation by location and local regulations; a W-8 BEN form may be provided for non-US applicants.
