LAND ACQUISITION MANAGER

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The candidate will be responsible for acquiring new land suitable for the development of photovoltaic and battery energy storage (BESS) sites. Specifically, they will be in charge of:

1. Identifying new business opportunities for Solar PV/BESS projects.
2. Converting inbound leads and driving the advancement of each project opportunity by leading all necessary steps in the process (both internal and external).
3. Ensuring the economic viability of opportunities.
4. Developing and maintaining the sales pipeline through a CRM system.
5. Negotiating contracts and agreements with clients and partners.
6. Developing and managing relationships with external stakeholders professionally and effectively.

REQUIREMENTS

1. At least 3-5 years of experience in greenfield development and authorization of renewable energy projects, preferably solar PV, in Italy.
2. Professional fluency in English and Italian.
3. Good IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to network and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
5. Strategic thinking, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Results-driven, self-motivated, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
7. Awareness of key market developments and industry news/events to quickly identify business opportunities.
8. Willingness to travel and possession of a full Italian driving license.

PREFERENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Knowledge of project authorization procedures (AU / PAUR/ VIA / PUA/ PAS /etc).
2. Familiarity with grid connection procedures (HV/MV) from application to commissioning.
