Are you handy and passionate about electronics?

We develop test equipment and provide testing services in the field of reliability (power cycling) testing for leading semiconductor manufacturers. To support our team, we are looking for a laboratory technician to assist with semiconductor lifetime (Power Cycling) testing in our laboratory, as well as the development, production, and servicing of power cycling test benches.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Planning and executing lifetime (power cycling) tests in our in-house laboratory, including specimen registration, test assembly, electrical connections, setting test parameters in coordination with customers, monitoring, dismantling test setups, data evaluation, preparing test reports, and invoicing.
  2. Supporting quotation processes, planning, and procurement of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic connections for test specimens, coordinating with external suppliers and the internal mechanical department.
  3. Planning and assembling power cycling test benches, including procurement of components.
  4. Assembling, cabling, verifying, calibrating, and commissioning test benches at alpitronic and customer sites, with proper documentation.
  5. Planning and implementing after-sales support for power cycling test benches, including on-site support at international customer locations.
  6. Providing internal support within the Power Cycling Laboratory.
  7. Collaborating with development teams to develop new test benches, including electronic hardware design, mechanical design, etc.

Your Qualifications & Skills

  • Technical secondary school diploma or equivalent, focusing on electronics or mechatronics.
  • Experience in a technical role.
  • Proficiency with electronic measurement equipment.
  • Manual skills in assembly and repairs.
  • Understanding of electronic circuit diagrams and technical documentation.
  • Knowledge of MS Office programs.
  • Sense of responsibility and organizational skills.
  • Structured, precise, and professional work approach.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally (approx. 5 weeks/year).
