Are you handy and passionate about electronics?

We are developing test equipment and providing testing services in the field of reliability (power cycling) testing for leading semiconductor manufacturers. To support our team, we are looking for a laboratory technician who will assist with the execution of semiconductor lifetime (Power Cycling) testing in our laboratory and with the development, production, and servicing of power cycling test benches.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Planning and execution of lifetime (power cycling) tests in the in-house laboratory:
    • Specimen registration, test assembly, electrical connection, test parameter setup in coordination with the customer, monitoring, dismantling test setup, data evaluation, test reports, invoicing.
    • Support with quotation, planning, and procurement of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic connections of test specimens to the test bench (coordination with external suppliers and internal mechanical department).
  2. Planning and execution of the assembly of power cycling test benches:
    • Planning of test bench assembly and procurement of components.
    • Assembly, cabling, verification, calibration, and commissioning of test benches at alpitronic and at customer sites, including documentation.
  3. Planning and implementation of after-sales support for Power Cycling test benches:
    • On-site support at international customers.
    • Internal support within the Power Cycling Laboratory.
  4. Support in developing test benches in cooperation with other development teams (electronic hardware including layout, mechanical design, etc.).
Your Qualifications & Skills
  1. Technical secondary school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on electronics or mechatronics.
  2. Experience in a technical role.
  3. Proficiency with electronic measurement equipment.
  4. Manual skills focused on assembly and repairs.
  5. Understanding of electronic circuit diagrams and technical documentation.
  6. Knowledge of MS Office programs.
  7. Sense of responsibility and organizational skills.
  8. Structured, clean, and professional working approach.
  9. Good communication skills.
  10. Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally (approx. 5 weeks/year).
