We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our Downstream Team to ensure the seamless management of the combustion laboratory and a sound filing system in accordance with laboratory policies and procedures.
Youwill carry on the following activities:
* Coordinate suppliers of mechanical, electrical, and laboratory automation components.
* Organize the entry and exit of materials with warehouse management;
* Coordinate routine and extraordinary plant maintenance activities;
* Organize test setup activities and supervise related mechanical/electrical assemblies;
* Test execution with test matrix writing, test execution with data collection, test report writing and archiving of collected data;
* Activities to update safety procedures in accordance with HSE regulations;
* Perform instrumentalist tasks so as to ensure the proper functioning of the instrumentation at Lab (smoke analyzer, valves, flame controls, transmitters, etc.);
* Perform autocad and/or inventor sizing and drawing of prototypes under test for modifications to be implemented between tests;
* Interface with the Global R&D group in the context of CFD simulations of test burners and on possible RFCS, Horizon, LIFE, etc. research projects.
Required profile:
* Technical studies background.
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
* Work experience in maintenance is a strong plus.
* Good inter-personal skills in combination with a strong self-supporting/ independent character and a good understanding of dynamic and challenging environments.
* Fluent in English, written and spoken.
* Willingness to travel.
