Competenze

  • 2+ years of experience as a laboratory engineer in medium to large companies.
  • Knowledge of EN IEC60335 testing standards is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

The Laboratory Engineer will serve as a Development Engineer, actively participating in the New Product Development process by supporting the creation of product designs that meet company goals while integrating the needs of marketing, sales, and manufacturing departments.
He/she will:

  1. Oversee and conduct tests on products and prototypes, including pre-production and production items;
  2. Write Test Reports and assist in developing Test Methods & DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) studies;
  3. Analyze root causes of problems and research new technical solutions through experimental processes or innovative approaches;
  4. Perform firmware analysis and debugging;
  5. Verify that samples meet performance and safety standard requirements;
  6. Check consistency between functional specifications and electronic samples using specialized debugging tools.
Job Profile

Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • University Degree/Diploma in Engineering;
  • At least 2 years of experience as a laboratory engineer in medium to large companies or analysis laboratories;
  • Knowledge and testing experience in accordance with EN IEC60335 is a plus;
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Skills, Capabilities, and Competencies:

  • Passion for testing and analyzing new products, components, systems, or physical phenomena;
  • Manual dexterity and skills;
  • Willingness to travel within the EU and outside the EU.
