A leading company in product development is seeking a Laboratory Engineer to actively support New Product Development. The successful candidate will oversee product testing, write test reports, and analyze technical solutions, ensuring compliance with performance and safety standards. Candidates should have a degree in Engineering and relevant experience in testing, with manual skills and proficiency in English.
The Laboratory Engineer will deal with the role of Development Engineer, which takes an active part into the process of New Product Development by supporting the creation of a product design that fulfills company goals, while integrating the needs of marketing, sales and manufacturing departments.
He/she will:
- oversee and make Test of products and prototypes, test of pre-production & production products;
- write Test Reports, assisting in the development of Test Methods & DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) studies;
- analyse the root cause of the problem, researching new technical solutions by experimental process or through innovation approach;
- Firmware analysis and debug;
- verify that samples comply performances and safety standard requirements;
- check consistency between functional specification and electronic samples, using specialized debug tools.
Qualifications, Knowledges:
- University Degree/ Diploma in Engineering
- 2 years of previous experience as laboratory engineer in medium-large Companies or in analysis laboratories.
- Knowledge and testing in agreement of EN IEC60335 is a plus.
- Fluent in English written and spoken
