Squire Patton Boggs is seeking an Associate for its Labour & Employment Practice in Milano. The role focuses on handling and advising on labour law matters within a global team, including M&A-related employment issues and the development of HR policies.
Ideal candidates will have 2+ PQE, at least 1 year of relevant experience, an attorney-at-law certification, and fluency in English. A second language is desirable and MS Office proficiency is expected.
Are you looking for a new challenge? Keen to build a career in an ambitious professional services business? We are looking for someone who thrives in a diverse and varied role, and who wants to develop her/his experience in the Labor & Employment Practice. If you are an Associate 2+ PQE with a minimum of 1-year professional experience in handling and advising on labour law matters (also in the context of M&A transactions) you will be happy to work on different aspects in our labor and employment team, whilst sharing and committing to the bigger picture goal with the wider team and clients. Excellent academic background and fluency in English are required and knowledge of a second language is desirable.
Our global Labor & Employment Practice is dedicated to providing clients with strategic and creative advocacy and advice on their most complex L&E needs across the globe.
As an Associate, you will be part of our international labour law practice serving global and local clients. Our team - technically impeccable, innovative, and integrated - will give you an opportunity to handle a full spectrum of HR and labour law matters. From day one, you will be involved in contentious and non-contentious matters. In particular, you will be advising on several projects, including developing global policies and procedures, handling disciplinary, restructuring and dismissal issues, or pursuing M&A transactions. Rendering legal advice and opinions, attending to day-to-day correspondence, participating in contract negotiations, or seeing to contract performance - this may all be your bread and butter. We routinely work on international projects, which enable our lawyers to cooperate with their networked colleagues and clients worldwide. We invest in innovation and new technologies by pursuing hi-tech projects, to which you may also be contributing.
We are looking for ambitious and driven individuals for whom high-quality delivery is a priority. If you want to grow with the team, if you are inquisitive and if you like a good legal challenge, you will be our pick.
Squire Patton Boggs is committed to equal opportunity for all. We may collect relevant data for monitoring as part of our candidate registration process. We are an inclusive employer and aim to ensure our workforce is representative of our diverse society. We will make reasonable adjustments and adaptions to our recruitment process to ensure it is inclusive for anyone who wishes to apply.
