Your Mission

As part of the Labeling Lab. team, the Lab Engineer will be responsible for preparing, planning, executing, and analyzing tests related to Labeling technologies, ensuring their performance, reliability, and efficiency.

Main Responsibilities

  • Define technical specifications and test plans mainly for new and existing Labeling equipment developments, application related to other SIDEL equipment could happened.
  • Prepare the needed modification of benches & modules (Mechanics & Automation) to realize the tests expected.
  • Conduct functional and reliability tests on, analyzing results and providing recommendations for improvements, patents & disruptive solutions.
  • Apply knowledge of mechanical & automation sciences to assess and optimize system performances.
  • Perform system simulations to enhance product development.
  • Develop and execute Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) to identify potential risks and ensure product robustness.
  • Manage testing processes autonomously, ensuring timely execution and adherence to project deadlines.
  • Utilize Sidel Engineering tools and SAP for data and process management.
  • Apply data analysis techniques, including machine learning and MATLAB, to optimize test results and improve product design.
  • Lead and coordinate test-related activities within the team, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.

Your Profile

Education Qualifications: Master’s degree in mechanical or Automation engineering or equivalent

Professional Qualifications And Experience

  • Experience in testing and validation of functional equipment modules, preferably in the food and beverage industry
  • Knowledge of mechanical &/or Automation design & system simulations
  • Expertise in test planning, execution, and data analysis
  • Proficiency in DFMEA methodology and risk assessment
  • Experience with SolidWorks or B&R & Siemens PLC software
  • Knowledge of data analysis, MiniTAB, machine learning, and MATLAB is an advantage
