Job summary

avio aero is seeking an experienced logistics fleet manager to oversee asset logistics, from receipt to disposal, in Kuwait for a 3-year assignment. You will coordinate replenishment with Avio Aero partners, manage stock, and ensure compliance with export controls and KPIs.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, fluent Italian and English, and experience in multinational environments. Relocation assistance is provided and the position reports to the on-site customer support manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or high-school diploma with multinational experience.
• Ability to produce technical reports.
• Familiarity with IT systems/tools (e.g., SAP).
• Strong understanding of supply-chain design processes and spares-pool optimization.
• Knowledge of fleet-management modelling, forecasting and reporting.
• Awareness of service availability balance with inventory and costs.
• Deep knowledge of receipt and dispatch requirements for hardware, transportation, packaging and export control.
• Fluent written and spoken Italian and English.

Responsibilities

• Define stock buffer requirements and review them based on in-service experience.
• Maintain records and monitors of deliveries and consumptions to support asset databases and KPI monitoring.
• Maintain engines, modules and LRI pools accounting.
• Coordinate replenishment demands with Avio Aero military partners, preparing POs and procurement requests.
• Liaise with agencies to fulfil export, customs and international trade compliance obligations.
• Arrange and manage transportation of materiel.
• Raise discrepancy reports and lead resolution with partners.
• Monitor preservation activities for materiel with shelf life or checks.
• Receive and fulfil customer demands and exchange service.
• Coordinate control movements of returned engine-related items.
• Manage materiel disposal, quarantine store and special container types.
• Contribute to cost accounting aspects connected to procurement.
