Currently we are looking for a Key Account Manager for the Mining, Minerals, and MetalsSegment.

What will you do?

  • Build long-term, trusting relationships with our customers and key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor, understanding their challenges and aligning them with Schneider Electric solutions.
  • Identify and effectively qualify sales leads, manage a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business for existing clients, actively seek new sales opportunities and explore new areas of business development through the Schneider Electric’s solution portfolio.
  • Implement sales and marketing tactics, events, and programs to exceed assigned segment objectives, increase sales revenue and pipeline, and provide strategic insights to drive innovation and competitive positioning.
  • Conduct marker research in the MMM Segment to understand segmentation, customers, market size, competitors, etc.
  • Collaborate internally to monitor national regulatory and legislative policies to identify trends and market opportunities.
  • Develop or transfer a marketing value proposition for the domestic industrial strategic subsegment, working with the global team and other Bus, mainly Industrial Automation and Service.
  • Collaborate with global team, share and manage strategy and commercial actions in decision making chain of multi-country customers.
  • Provide active support to local sales areas to manage multi-area customers and opportunities, develop local action plans, attend or organize events and transfer the MMM segment value proposition to grow our business and enhance value delivery.
  • Promote and sell Schneider Electric products, services and solutions.
  • Develop and execute account business plans to achieve annual sales and business objectives, providing accurate and timely reports/forecasts.
  • Foster a team selling approach and act as a bridge between the customers’ organization and Schneider Electric’s technical, service and sales specialists.
  • Manage multiple short and long-term projects and relationships

What qualifications will make you successful?

  • University Degree, ideally in Electrical Engineering or Automation Engineering.
  • Strong ability to manage structured customers, even in international set up.
  • Technical background in Electrical Distribution and/or Automation.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Excellent listening and negotiation abilities combined with the aptitude to run high value sales strategies.
  • Experience in business intelligence, content management, CRM and/or another web application to understand your customers’ needs.
  • Business Fluency in English
  • Readiness to travel on business (approx. 50%) in Italy
