As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales, forging strategic partnerships, expanding our client base, and maintaining strong relationships with clients to strengthen our presence in the local market.

This is a remote position open to candidates residing in Italy.

Job Responsibilities

  • Expand and consolidate our presence in the assigned territory.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with partners such as tour operators, travel agencies, travel management companies, and OTAs to enhance their performance.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and develop opportunities within the territory.
  • Follow up with existing and new partners, providing system training.
  • Promote the brand through product presentations and networking events within the travel trade.
  • Resolve incident issues and ensure partner support.
  • Oversee transaction processing to ensure payment accuracy.
  • Travel approximately 40% of your working time for meetings, events, and other business activities.
  • Conduct market and competitive environment analysis.
  • Provide regular reports using CRM and internal systems.
  • Develop and maximize API deals with existing and potential partners.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of successful experience in the full sales cycle within the travel industry, focusing on business development and B2B account management.
  • Deep understanding of the regional travel market, including B2B networks such as tour operators, agencies, and OTAs.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.
  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable with data-driven decision-making and metrics.
  • Proactive, ambitious, motivated, results-oriented, and a team player with an interest in innovative technology.
  • Ability to work across diverse cultural contexts reflecting ETG's global presence.
  • Experience with API technology deals is a plus.
