Key Account Manager - Fashion, Footwear, and Apparel
Purpose of the role
In this role, you will own and grow relationships with key fashion and lifestyle wholesale partners, acting as a strategic driver of revenue, brand presence, and cultural relevance.
You will connect the dots between product, influencer marketing, PR activations, and commercial success, ensuring adidas is seen as a fashion-forward leader in streetwear and lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop strategic account plans for fashion / lifestyle wholesale partners, driving sell-in and sell-out performance.
- Build long-term relationships with wholesale accounts influential in fashion.
- Collaborate on seasonal go-to-market strategies, including product segmentation, line reviews, storytelling, and influencer campaigns.
- Identify opportunities for exclusive capsules, curated products, and limited-edition drops.
- Partner with PR, brand communications, and influencer teams on impactful campaigns tied to wholesale activations.
- Use data and market insights to develop strategies that elevate adidas’ brand image across retailers and digital platforms.
- Monitor order management, conversion, and replenishment to maximize account productivity.
- Coordinate with marketing to enhance product presentation and campaign execution in digital and in-store environments.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to stay ahead of trends and inform product assortment.
- Work with internal teams to drive account growth and operational excellence.
- Track and report KPIs to meet sales and brand equity goals.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Proven success in key account management or sales in fashion, streetwear, or lifestyle industries.Deep understanding of fashion trends, cultural drivers, and influencer ecosystems.Strong commercial mindset balancing brand and business results.Effective communicator with credibility in meetings and creative discussions.Strategic, analytical, and data-driven approach.Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable in fast-paced environments.Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of SAP and Power BI is a plus.Fluent in Italian and English.Education & Experience
