Job Description :

Spin Master is a leading global children's entertainment company, creating exceptional play experiences through its three creative centres: Toys, Entertainment, and Digital Games. With distribution in over 100 countries, Spin Master is known for brands like PAW Patrol, Bakugan, Kinetic Sand, Air Hogs, Hatchimals, Rubik’s Cube, and GUND, and is the global toy licensee for other popular properties.

What will you work on?

The Key Account Manager is the primary contact for customer relations. Responsibilities include building and maintaining strong relationships, overseeing account management, negotiating contracts, and maximizing profit.

How will you create impact?

  • Develop annual business plans aligned with company goals and customer needs
  • Deliver product presentations, proposals, and advertising plans on schedule
  • Understand customer timelines and provide necessary information proactively
  • Work with support teams to develop and update forecasts reflecting market realities
  • Review performance regularly and adjust plans to meet targets
  • Manage customer budgets and update salesforce accordingly
  • Analyze sell-through data and market intelligence to identify opportunities and minimize risks
  • Communicate effectively with customers and provide quick solutions
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service
  • Provide feedback and coaching to account management team
  • Understand account objectives and marketing plans through multi-level contacts
  • Create innovative sales and marketing account plans to enhance performance
  • Coordinate trade marketing activities to meet volume, distribution, and profit targets
  • Maximize profitability through strategic planning and data analysis
  • Negotiate with senior accounts to ensure long-term agreements and optimize marketing mix
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and timely stock delivery in collaboration with planning teams
  • Be flexible in managing various accounts
  • Lead by example to foster a solution-oriented culture
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with accounts to ensure Spin Master remains a preferred supplier

What are your skills and experience?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the toy industry
  • Experience managing a business portfolio with a national retailer, toy retail experience preferred
  • Retail experience at store level or in retail planning is an asset
  • Customer-driven attitude and proactive approach
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally
  • Proficiency in MS Office; Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills
  • Goal-oriented with self-motivation and persistence
  • Ability to create business presentations, analyze POS reports
  • Willingness to travel; valid driver’s license required
