About the Role :

As the Key Account Manager, you will lead a high-profile account, ensuring excellent execution and sales growth. You will use your negotiation and influencing skills to develop a strategic annual account plan outlining key objectives for Dyson and the retailer, with a planning horizon of up to three years.

As our product portfolio grows, our retail landscape must evolve to meet Dyson's ambitious growth targets. You will set the strategic vision and define clear objectives to deliver high-value growth and strong ROI for Dyson Sales.

Main Responsibilities :

Deliver a vision and strategy to drive transformational growth in your retailer account.

  • Anticipate changes in retail landscape, shopper behavior, or competitors, and develop a comprehensive business plan to ensure profitable growth.
  • Collaborate with commercial, finance, operations, and group functions to align your retailer plan with broader company strategies.

Achieve sales and profitability targets.

  • Meet sales and gross margin targets aligned with budgets.
  • Manage promotional planning, forecasts, and budgets effectively.
  • Understand retailer profitability using margin tracking tools.

Ensure high standards of execution for Dyson online and in-store in line with distribution agreements.

  • Enhance shopper and consumer understanding through effective category management.
  • Communicate retail activity plans and equip field teams to execute effectively.
  • Use data to improve compliance and standards.
  • Oversee NPD rollout quality.
  • Work with retail activation teams to optimize fixture placement and ROI.
  • Drive ecommerce performance metrics such as traffic, conversion, and AOV.

Deliver compelling presentations and manage key customer meetings.

  • Prepare and present 'Winning Customer proposals'.
  • Conduct regular face-to-face meetings with retailer teams.
  • Organize Quarterly Business Reviews with senior retailer and Dyson personnel.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to implement customer initiatives.

Influence stakeholders internally and externally to achieve results.

  • Build effective collaborations across sales, marketing, operations, and other teams.
  • Manage supply chain KPIs and efficiencies.
  • Handle objections and maintain relationships while meeting targets.
  • Network and share best practices within the EMEA account management teams.

Support other duties proactively, embodying Dyson's values and maintaining the IT Sales Identity.

About you

  • At least 2 years of account management experience.
  • Experience working within high-performing sales teams.
  • Exposure to senior-level negotiations.
  • Experience with budget control and forecasting across multiple product lines.
  • Strong financial acumen and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, including presentation and written skills.
  • Analytical skills and data-driven decision-making ability.
  • Effective influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Enthusiastic team player with drive and motivation.
