Job Title: Production Planning Manager

We are currently seeking a Production Planning Manager to join our Supply Chain team based at our HQ in Padova.

The candidate, reporting directly to the Head of Procurement and Purchasing, will be responsible for all activities related to the planning and scheduling of finished products, including carry-over and new collections. They will interface with other company departments to develop feasible production plans based on Go to Market requirements and the progress of product industrialization.

Responsibilities include:

1. Managing the planning and scheduling of finished product purchases according to sales and warehouse targets, considering production capacities, bottlenecks, lead times, and minimum batch sizes of plants and suppliers.
2. Analyzing demand in relation to planning resource capacities to manage potential conflicts between production load and available capacity.
3. Monitoring and controlling order progress in collaboration with Plant Planners and the Purchasing Office, verifying deviations from plans and ensuring delivery dates are met, implementing corrective actions as needed.
4. Creating and analyzing weekly reports (KPIs) to measure the efficiency of reorder plans and customer service levels.
5. Coordinating the team to provide Plants' Planning and Purchasing with priority lists for customer deliveries, monitoring shipments, and supporting expediting activities.
6. Developing and coordinating supply chain reports for sales portfolio coverage simulations.
7. Reviewing backorder situations periodically to provide visibility within the company, identifying causes of critical delays.
8. Organizing and leading meetings to monitor progress and applying corrective measures when necessary.
9. Supporting and developing team performance and skills.

Requirements include:

1. At least 5 years of experience in a similar role and context.
2. Excellent knowledge of production planning and scheduling systems (MPS, Capacity Planning, MRP), advanced Excel skills, and a good command of English.
3. Preferably a degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Economics.
4. Knowledge of SAP is a preferred asset.
5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills, results-oriented, proactive, and team-oriented attitude.
