Job summary

Artelia is seeking a Junior Water Treatment Site Inspector for a major microelectronics project in Milan. You will contribute to construction supervision, site inspection and quality control of water treatment and distribution systems, gaining autonomy over time under senior guidance.

You will work within an international multidisciplinary team, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards while engaging daily with colleagues in English.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in relevant engineering field.
• Experience in water treatment or industrial utilities is a plus.
• Good reading of P&IDs, layouts and technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Support site supervision and inspection of water treatment and utility systems.
• Verify installations against project documentation, technical specifications and standards.
• Monitor softened water production and distribution systems.
• Participate in inspection of ultrapure water (UPW) production and distribution systems.
• Support supervision of raw water treatment and purification systems.
• Monitor industrial and sanitary water distribution networks.
• Participate in inspection of industrial wastewater treatment installations.
• Support segregation and collection of industrial drains.
• Carry out regular site inspections to verify progress and quality.
• Assist analysis and resolution of technical issues during construction and commissioning.
• Prepare progress, inspection and non-conformance reports.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, clients and project teams.
• Support testing, commissioning and acceptance activities.
• Perform site checks per safety procedures.
• Interact with an international team in English.
