Job summary

Artelia is seeking a Junior Water Treatment Site Inspector to join a major microelectronics project in Milan. The role focuses on construction supervision, site inspection and quality control of water treatment and water utility systems within a high-tech industrial environment.

You will work with an international multidisciplinary team, gaining autonomy under senior specialists in inspection, verification and acceptance of UPW and other water systems. English is used daily on site.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related.
• Alternative degree specializing in water treatment, industrial utilities or process engineering.
• 0–3 years of experience in water treatment, industrial utilities, commissioning, or site activities.
• Knowledge of industrial water treatment systems and distribution networks.
• Basic knowledge of UPW systems and wastewater treatment installations.
• Ability to read drawings, P&IDs, layouts, and technical documentation.
• Excellent command of Italian; strong English (B2).

Responsibilities

• Support site supervision and inspection activities related to water treatment and water utility systems.
• Verify installations meet project documentation, specifications and standards.
• Monitor softened water production and distribution systems.
• Inspect ultrapure water (UPW) production and distribution systems.
• Support supervision activities related to raw water treatment and purification systems.
• Monitor industrial and sanitary water distribution networks.
• Inspect industrial wastewater treatment installations.
• Assist in coordination with contractors, suppliers, clients and project teams.
• Prepare technical progress, inspection and non-conformance reports.
• Support testing, commissioning and acceptance activities.
