Job summary

John Crane in Italy is seeking a Junior Condition Monitoring Engineer to join the team on site. You will collect vibration data, learn to use vibration data collectors and associated software, and support accurate reports under supervision.

This full-time role offers on-the-job training, initially CAT I with potential CAT II, and requires willingness to learn, fluent Italian, and good English. You will work with the site team following H&S procedures, with occasional extended days as needed.

Qualifications

• Fluent Italian with good English and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop in vibration/condition monitoring.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Willingness to work towards Vibration Analysis CAT II.
• Degree, technical qualification or higher education.
• Three years’ experience in confined space work is beneficial.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine condition monitoring surveys under guidance.
• Develop vibration data collection skills under supervision.
• Progress to vibration analysis, diagnostic and reporting tasks.
• Support on-the-job training and formal courses.
• Maintain accurate data records and safety standards.
• Collaborate with site team and adhere to H&S requirements.
• Occasional extended days or weekend work as needed.
