Questo ruolo prevede attività di testing rigoroso per garantire la qualità e l'affidabilità dei prodotti, collaborando con sviluppatori e product manager. Richiesta una Laurea magistrale in Ingegneria, con competenze in V&V e programmazione.

Competenze

• Esperienza nell'autonomia nella gestione della validazione di un sistema software.
• Capacità di redigere documentazione di test come STP, STD, STR.
• Competenza nella scrittura di procedure di test.

Mansioni

• Analisi dei requisiti e definizione di procedure di test.
• Identificazione, analisi e documentazione di difetti nel sistema.
• Preparazione della documentazione di verifica e validazione.

Conoscenze

Ottima conoscenza dei processi di V&V

Scrittura di unit tests o test di integrazione software

Scrittura di procedure di test

Conoscenza della norma MIL-498

Conoscenza di un linguaggio di programmazione (C++, Java, Python)

Formazione

Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Aerospace Engineering

RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Verification & Validation Engineer to join its office in Roma within the Digital Technology and Cybersecurity Division.

Mission

The Verification & Validation Engineer focuses on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of products through rigorous testing and verification activities. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and execute test cases to validate system functionality and performance.

Key Accountabilities

• Requirements analysis
• Definition and execution of test procedures based on requirements and design specifications
• Identify, analyze, and document defects and inconsistencies in the system under test
• Preparation of verification and validation documentation (test documents, test reports, analysis reports)
• Participation in meetings and reviews with the customer

Education

Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Aerospace Engineering

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of the processes of V&V
• Experience and autonomy in managing the validation of a software system (from writing unit tests to drafting requirements validation procedures)
• Excellent knowledge of writing unit tests or software integration tests
• Excellent skills in writing test procedures
• Knowledge of the MIL-498 standard (specifically drafting documents such as STP, STD, STR)
• Good knowledge of one of the programming languages among C++, Java, Python
