Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and analytical candidate to join our Treasury team, with a focus on credit management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily bank statement reconciliation on behalf of Italian headquarters and some foreign subsidiaries;
• Origination of payments according to payments forecast (wires, F24);
• Support in monthly closing activities;
• Monitoring of financial conditions applied by banks and factoring;
• Active cash collection from customers located worldwide: resolve past due issues and credit issues, regularly review aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances;
• Liaising with Customer Service and Sales team to address customer issues affecting payments;
• Trade finance activities (letters of credit, cash against documents).

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance or Accounting;
• Some experience in treasury or accounting role;
• Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus);
• Strong user knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel;
• SAP knowledge;
• A working knowledge of accounts receivable-related accounting concepts;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a particular emphasis on customer contact;
• Very good organization, ability to analyze data, coordination and problem solving skills, objective oriented;
• Ability to learn quickly and be independent.
